Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN) has announced the resumption dates for the 2025/2026 academic session. The university will resume in phases, with separate dates for newly admitted and returning students.

New students are expected to report first for registration and orientation before academic activities begin. Returning students will resume a week later and complete their registration before lectures commence.

Students are advised to follow the approved schedule carefully, complete all required clearance procedures and make accommodation arrangements where necessary before arriving on campus.

When Will Lectures Begin?

Academic lectures for all students will begin on Monday, 3 November 2025.

Students are expected to complete their registration before lectures commence.

Who Can Stay in the University Hostel?

Due to limited hostel spaces, accommodation on the first resumption date has been restricted to the following categories:

  • All 100 Level students

  • All 400 Level students, except Law students

Students in the following categories are required to arrange accommodation outside the university:

  • 200 Level students

  • 300 Level students

  • 400 Level Law students

What Are the Hostel Clearance Requirements?

Before a hostel space can be allocated, students must obtain clearance from the university's Bursary Unit.

The clearance confirms that all required school fees have been fully paid.

What Documents Should New Students Bring?

Newly admitted students are required to bring six photocopies each of the following documents:

  • Admission letter

  • JAMB admission documents

  • School fee payment receipts

  • O'Level result

  • Valid means of identification

  • Medical certificate

Candidates are also required to bring fourteen recent passport photographs.

Which Items Are Not Allowed in the Hostel?

The university has prohibited the following items inside student hostels:

  • Heating appliances, except where medically approved

  • Illicit substances

  • Noodles

  • Spaghetti

  • Other prohibited food items as specified by the university
