AFIT Admission Requirements for 2025/2026
To go to AFIT, you must meet these requirements. You can see below that the requirements have been divided into two groups: UTME and Direct Entry.Â
UTME Admission Requirements
Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in pertinent subjects at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), or an equivalent assessment. English Language and Mathematics, as well as any other subjects needed for the chosen course, must be included.
Candidates must take the UTME and get the required score in subjects that are related to the course they want to take.
During the UTME registration, candidates must pick AFIT as their first choice school.
AFIT sets cut off marks for each programme, and candidates must meet these marks. These cut off marks are different for each course of study.
AFIT will hold a post UTME screening exercise that all candidates must take part in.
Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Candidates must have at least an upper credit in a National Diploma (ND) or another relevant qualification in the field of study they want to pursue.
Candidates must possess two (2) A-level passes or their equivalent in subjects pertinent to the desired field of study.
