Below are the complete admission requirements for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates.
UTME Admission Requirements
Candidates must have obtained at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English language and mathematics, from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. These credits must be obtained in two or fewer sittings.
Candidates must have selected the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA), as their first choice during JAMB registration.
Candidates must have taken the UTME examination and scored at least 150 or meet the departmental cut off mark for their preferred course.
Candidates must have the appropriate UTME subject combinations for their course.
Candidates must participate in the university's Post UTME screening and perform well when the time comes.
Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Candidates must have at least two A-Level passes or a relevant OND, HND, NCE, or JUPEB qualification with high grades.
Candidates must also have five (5) credit passes in relevant O-level subjects, such as English language and mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
Candidates must apply for Direct Entry through JAMB and indicate FUHSA as their preferred institution.
Some courses may require direct entry candidates to participate in a screening process before final admission is granted.
