The management of UDUSOK has announced the opening of its online portal for hostel bed space applications for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you are planning to stay on campus, this is an important update you should not ignore.

According to an official circular from the Student Affairs Division, the application portal will open on 22 September 2025 by 3:00 pm and close on 6 October 2025 by 3:00 pm. The circular was signed by Dr Tukur M. Mukhtar, Deputy Dean and Chairman of the Bed Space Allocation Committee.

You are expected to apply through the university portal at my.udusok.edu.ng within the stated period.

The bed spaces in the hostel are limited, so it is best to start applying early. The current hostel fee for the 2025/2026 academic session is ₦24,000

How Hostel Allocation Works

UDUSOK gives priority to certain groups during allocation. These include:

  • Physically challenged students

  • Students’ union executives

  • Foreign students

  • New students

  • Final year students

  • Outstanding sportsmen and women

  • Other applicants (based on availability)

Allocation is mainly based on availability and early application.

Steps to Apply for Hostel Accommodation at UDUSOK

To apply for a bed space at UDUSOK, you must use the school portal. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Visit the official student portal: my.udusok.edu.ng

  2. Log in using your matriculation number or admission details.

  3. After logging in, go to your dashboard and click on “Hostel Application” or “Accommodation” and select the current academic session.

  4. You will see available hostels on the portal. Select your preferred hostel and available room or bed space (if displayed)

  5. After choosing a hostel, generate a hostel payment invoice. Make sure your details are correct before moving forward.

  6. Pay the hostel fee through: Bank payment or Online payment (if available)

  7. After payment, log in again, download and print your payment receipt. Keep this safe; you may need it during clearance.

  8. Then return to the portal to confirm your hostel name, room number and bed space. Once approved, your accommodation is secured.

UDUSOK hostels are divided into male and female halls, with special arrangements for medical students. Popular halls like Jubril Aminu, Nana Asma'u, and Kwankwaso fill up quickly, so early application is important.

Paying on time and completing clearance properly can increase your chances of securing accommodation.
