What to do After Getting Admitted to UNILAG

There are list of things to be done once you are admitted to UNILAG;

The first step is accepting your admission on the JAMB CAPS by clicking on accept admission. Then, proceed to printing your JAMB admission letter, which comes in two copies. One for candidates and the other for the institution. This letter is very important because it will be presented at UNILAG during your documentation process.

This next phase is compulsory for all students coming into the University of Lagos (UNILAG); it is a mandatory toxicology drug test. Newly admitted students are to visit the Jelili Adebisi Omotola (Multipurpose) Hall or the designated venue for their faculty. You must pass this test to proceed; testing positive or skipping it can lead to the withdrawal of your admission.

Once your toxicology result is cleared, return to the student portal and fill in your student bio data form. Upload high quality scans of your O'Level results, birth certificate, and state of origin certificate. Then book an appointment for your physical screening exercise, which is usually faculty based.

On your appointment day, head to your specific faculty with two sets of photocopies and originals of these documents:

  • Toxicology test result.

  • JAMB admission letter, it must be coloured.

  • UNILAG Post UTME result slip.

  • O’Level Result (WAEC/NECO) and testimonial from secondary school.

  • Letter of Reference: This must be from a reputable Clergyman, Imam, Lawyer, or Senior Civil Servant, addressed to the Registrar, University of Lagos.
