How to Calculate UNILAG Cut off Mark 2025/2026 Session
This breakdown will guide you on how to check if you beat the cut off mark.
UNILAG uses a 100% system broken down as follows:
JAMB (UTME): 50%
O'Level (SSCE): 20%
Post-UTME: 30%
Step 1: Calculate your O'Level Points (20%)
UNILAG only considers your five (5) most relevant subjects (e.g., English, Maths, and three others related to your course) from one sitting. Each grade carries a specific point value.
A1 4.0
B2 3.6
B3 3.2
C4 2.8
C5 2.4
C6 2.0
Calculation: Add the points for your 5 relevant subjects together.
Example: If you have 5 A1s, your score is 4.0 times 5 = 20.0.
Step 2: Calculate your JAMB Score (50%)
To move your JAMB score to 50%, simply divide your total JAMB score by 8. Example: If you scored 280 in JAMB, divided by 8 = 35
Step 3: Post UTME Score (30%)
The Post-UTME is usually a 40 question test (English, Maths, and General Paper). Whatever you score out of 30 is your final mark for this section. If the test is scored over 100, multiply your result by 0.3.
Step 4: The Grand Total (Aggregate)
Add your scores from the three steps together: O'Level Points + JAMB Points + Post UTME Score= Aggregate Score.
