Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can I apply for EBSU courses and programmes if I chose them as my second choice?
A. No, EBSU typically only considers candidates who chose them as their first choice. If you didn't, you must apply for a "Change of Institution" on the JAMB portal.

Q. Does EBSU conduct a physical Post UTME exam?
A. Usually, no. EBSU uses an online screening process where they rank you based on your JAMB score and O’Level results.

Q. Are EBSU courses and programmes accredited by the NUC
A. Yes, the vast majority of the programmes are fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

Q. Can I change my course after 100 Level?
A. Yes, but it is difficult. You need a very high CGPA (usually 3.5+), and there must be space in the department you want to move to.

Q. How do I check my admission status?
A. You can check it via the EBSU admission portal or the JAMB CAPS portal using your registration number.
