FUEZ Orientation and Matriculation for New Students 2025/2026

For freshly admitted undergraduate students, two important events were held in April 2026. The orientation programme took place on Tuesday, 14 April 2026, at Dr A.A. Ladan Hall, starting at 10:00 am.

The Matriculation Ceremony followed the next day, on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, at Dr M.I. Maccido Hall, also beginning at 10:00 am.

These events mark the formal induction of new students into the university community. FUEZ matriculated over 5,000 pioneer undergraduate students during the 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony, making it a landmark event in the institution's history.

FUEZ New Student Registration Process for 2025/2026

For newly admitted undergraduate students, registration for the 2025/2026 session opened on Monday, 1 December 2025, ahead of the official academic calendar start date of 5 January 2026.

The process, coordinated through the Office of the Registrar, required students to follow a specific sequence of steps:

  1. Students are required to generate a Remita payment slip for the acceptance fee of N5,000 through the FUEZ student portal and make payment at ZAFEC Microfinance Bank.

  2. After payment confirmation at the Bursary Department, students download and print their admission letter from the portal, generate a fresh registration Remita slip, and complete further departmental and faculty registration steps.

  3. All students need to use ZAFEC Microfinance Bank exclusively for all payments, as the university does not accept payments made through any other channel.
