Who Can Apply for UNIMED Post UTME
Candidates are eligible to apply if they meet the following conditions:
Must have chosen UNIMED as first choice in the 2026 UTME
Must have scored 150 or above in JAMB
Candidates who did not choose UNIMED can apply after changing to first choice on the JAMB portal
All changes must be completed before screening

O-Level Requirements for UTME and Direct Entry
Candidates must have at least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO or GCE.

The credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
For Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, and Doctor of Physiotherapy, all five credits must be obtained in one sitting only.
Direct Entry Requirements
Direct Entry applicants must meet the following:
Must have applied through JAMB and selected UNIMED as first choice
Candidates changing to UNIMED can also apply
Must possess A Level qualifications such as JUPEB, IJMB or Cambridge with at least 10 points
ND, HND or degree holders can also apply for 200 level admission
Degree holders must have at least Second Class Lower
Transcript Requirement
All Direct Entry candidates must ensure their official transcript is sent directly to the university.
