Lagos State University Management has launched a monitoring exercise across examination centres as the Institution's second semester assessments for the 2025/2026 academic session got underway on Monday, June 1.

The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Professor Oluwatoyin A. Enikuomehin, led a team of university officials on an inspection of venues within the Faculties of Social Sciences and Management Sciences, where they assessed compliance with examination guidelines and interacted with officials overseeing the exercise.

Professor Enikuomehin acknowledged that some challenges were recorded at the start of the examinations, but confirmed that the process had since progressed smoothly across the University.

He commended staff and students for their conduct and adherence to examination regulations, stressing the institution's commitment to maintaining credibility in its assessment process.

"Regular monitoring remains an important part of LASU's quality assurance framework and efforts to sustain high academic standards," he noted, adding that management would continue to provide support to ensure a transparent and orderly process throughout the examination period.

The monitoring exercise is conducted in line with the Institution's revised academic calendar and forms part of a broader framework to strengthen quality assurance in teaching, learning, and assessment.
