Management of the Nigerian College of Accountancy (NCA), Jos, has released the official timetable for its August 2026 Resit Examinations, and has notified all affected students to complete online registration promptly. The Examinations will be conducted concurrently across three designated zonal centres, namely Jos, Abuja, and Lagos.
Students seeking to sit the resit examinations must access the registration portal at anancollege.org/portals/index.php, input their academic details to check their result, then click on the Proceed to Register button before completing payment through the gateway to finalise registration. Management stressed that registration is mandatory for all students sitting the examinations and advised candidates to cross check all details before final submission. The full timetable has been made available separately for concerned students to obtain.
NCA is the training arm of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), a professional body chartered by Act 76 of 1993 and tasked with advancing the science of accountancy in Nigeria and setting standards for the profession. The College was established in 1994 and reopened that year with an intake of 54 students, having previously operated on a smaller scale before a temporary closure. Enrolment grew steadily in the years that followed, reaching over 3,000 students by the 2007/2008 session.
The Institution is described as the first of its kind to be established by a body of accountants anywhere in Africa, and holds University Membership of the International Association for Accounting Education and Research. It is situated along College of Accountancy Road, Kwall, near Jos, Plateau State, and operates as a postgraduate professional college under ANAN's enabling Act. Graduates who complete the professional programme and pass the required examinations earn the designation of Certified National Accountant, subject to a further two year period of supervised practical training before full membership of ANAN is granted.
Candidates are advised to complete registration ahead of the August examination window to avoid last minute portal difficulties.
