The National Teachers’ Institute, Kaduna, has released 13,710 outstanding certificates for Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Nigeria Certificate in Education programmes. On Monday, February 2, 2026, Yusha’u Ahmed, who heads the Public Relations and Protocol Unit, announced the news.
The institute told graduates to go to NTI offices in their states, bring the required documents, and follow the standard steps to pick up their certificates. Ahmed added, “Bachelor’s Degree certificates will be ready for collection next week.”
Looking at the Academic Records Division’s data, they released 6,954 PGDE certificates through the National Open University of Nigeria for students from the 2013 to 2016 sessions. They also handed out 445 PGDE certificates in partnership with Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, and released another 119 through the University of Ilorin. For the 2023 academic year, they made 6,192 NCE certificates available.
The Director and Chief Executive Officer of the institute, Professor Sadiya Sani Daura, said the management is committed to resolving outstanding documentation matters.
“The delay in the issuance of the certificates was due to challenges that have now been resolved,” she said.
She also made it clear that the institute stands firmly behind teacher education and service, pushing ahead with distance learning and new teaching methods.
Graduates are advised to contact their state NTI offices immediately to confirm eligibility, submit the required documents, and complete the collection process.
