A Lagos based Nigerian Tulip International Colleges has honoured one of its students, Kingsley Enwere, with a formal recognition ceremony attended by school community members, stakeholders, and his family, following his performance in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

Enwere, who hails from Imo State, scored 370 marks in the examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board and reportedly applied to Nile University of Nigeria to study Computer Science. His score placed him among the national top performers, with Owoeye Jesudunsin topping the chart with 372 points and Bamisile Emmanuel from Ondo State placing third with 369 points, having applied to the Federal University of Technology, Akure to study Software Engineering. JAMB released its list of top candidates on May 11.

Speaking at the ceremony, NTIC Managing Director Fevzullah Bilgin stated that the institution remains committed to sustaining high academic standards and motivating students to excel. "NTIC has always believed in recognising exceptional academic efforts and inspiring students to push beyond limits in their educational journey," Bilgin disclosed.

The school, in a statement issued by Media Consultant Olumide Bajulaye, described Enwere's result as part of its "long standing tradition of academic excellence and student success," attributing the performance to "dedication, discipline, hard work," as well as "the strong academic culture and learning environment consistently maintained by NTIC over the years."

The institution congratulated Enwere, his parents, teachers, and the wider school community, expressing confidence in his future academic prospects. NTIC added that it remains committed to nurturing students capable of competing globally and contributing to national development.
