Brigadier General OO Nafiu, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, has declared that the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Corps Members will permanently remain an integral part of the NYSC family following the successful completion of their national service.
The high ranking military officer shared this official sentiment in a formal message posted on his Facebook page to mark the passing out ceremony of the latest cohort of graduates.
“I wish you success in your future endeavours. You will be missed and always remain part of the NYSC family. Nigeria is ours; Nigeria we serve,” Nafiu noted.
Acknowledging the specific impacts made by the outgoing corps members during their various deployments across the country, the Director General highlighted their core attributes. “This occasion offers a unique opportunity to, once again, commend your resilience, patriotism, discipline, and dedication throughout the service year. We celebrate your immense contributions, which have made a meaningful impact across the country,” he stated.
Extending official congratulations on behalf of the nation and the entire scheme, Nafiu celebrated the milestone of completing the mandatory one year programme. “On behalf of a grateful nation and a proud Scheme, I congratulate the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Corps Members on the successful completion of your one year national service,” the Director General revealed.
Concluding his address to the discharged youths, Nafiu charged them to utilise the skills imbibed during their service year as they transition into the next stage of their lives and careers. “As you move on to the next phase of life, I urge you to uphold the values you have acquired during the service and remain committed to personal development and nation building,” he advised.
