The National Universities Commission has granted full accreditation to all 29 academic programmes presented by Osun State University during the October/November 2025 accreditation exercise, the institution has announced.

The university's Public Relations Officer, Mr Ademola Adesoji, confirmed the development in a statement issued on Tuesday in Osogbo, noting that the approval was conveyed in a letter signed by the NUC Director of Accreditation, Abraham Chundusu.

Adesoji stated that the accredited programmes spanned Administration and Management, Allied Health Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Computing, Education, Sciences, and Social Sciences.

"The achievement reflected the quality of academic programmes, modern facilities, qualified manpower, research capacity, and stable academic environment in the university," he noted.

The Public Relations Officer attributed the success to the commitment of staff, students, the governing council, alumni, and other stakeholders, as well as the support of the Osun State Government. He added that the development affirmed the institution's growing reputation as one of the country's fast rising and academically stable universities.

He quoted Vice Chancellor Prof. Odunayo Adebooye as saying the outcome was a product of years of deliberate effort and institutional investment.

"The 100% success recorded by the university was a reflection of years of strategic planning, quality assurance, and sustained investment in academic excellence. All the programmes presented for accreditation secured full accreditation status. This is another milestone in the university's journey towards global relevance and excellence," the Vice Chancellor was quoted as saying.

Adebooye added that the university remained positioned to record further achievements in the coming years.
