About the Scholarship and Benefits
Partnering with Ebonyi State University, the Victor Uraku Foundation has launched this award to support students who have lost a parent or both, along with those from financially challenged backgrounds.
The initiative kicks off with a pilot round covering 20 recipients, with intentions to expand the programme to more students and other institutions across Ebonyi State in future sessions.
Selection will favour applicants with the strongest CGPA from each local government area, with 7 spots reserved for students who aren't Ebonyi indigenes.
Recipients get ₦200,000 per academic session, and the award can be renewed in the following sessions provided the applicable conditions continue to be met.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following to qualify:
Currently enrolled at Ebonyi State University
Have lost one or both parents
Maintain a CGPA of at least 3.5 out of 5.00
Open to both indigenes and non-indigenes of Ebonyi State
