If you are studying at the University of Ibadan, keeping track of these dates will help you prepare properly for each stage of the session.
The UI has released its official academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session. The approved timetable was circulated on Sunday, 26 January, through official WhatsApp platforms of student associations across faculties and departments.
According to the calendar, academic activities begin on 19 January 2026 and will run until 30 December 2026. There is also a two week break between the first and second semesters, in line with the university’s long standing tradition.
