Where to Apply for UI Hall Accommodation
All applications must be completed through the official student portal.
Applicants should log in via the UI student portal and navigate to the accommodation section.
Steps to Apply for UI Hall Accommodation
Follow these steps carefully on the portal:
Log in to the UI student portal: https://student-portal.ui.edu.ng/
Click on the “Hall” option on your dashboard
Select “Hall Application”
Fill in your Next-of-Kin details and save
Upload a recent passport photograph (white background, not more than 1MB)
Provide details on accommodation history and health condition if required
Submit your application
For returning students, the portal will ask about Jaja registration. If your record is confirmed, you can proceed. If not, the application may not go through.
New students will not see the Jaja question and can submit once all required fields are completed.
Make sure you click “Submit” and not just “Save”, as only submitted applications will be processed.
How to Check Your Accommodation Status
After submitting your application, you should monitor your status regularly.
Go to the “Hall Allocation” section on the portal to check if your application has been approved by the Hall Warden.
Steps to Pay and Get Room Allocation
Once your status changes to “Accepted”, follow these steps:
Click on “Fees”
Select “My Fees”
Pay the Hall Fee first
Print your receipt under “Transactions”
Proceed to pay Basic Hall Dues via www.unibadanmfb.org
Pay Optional Hall Dues if needed
After payment is confirmed, your status will change to “Paid”, and your room will be assigned.
You may also want to check the UI school fees to plan your finances properly before making payments.

Before moving into your hall, ensure you have the required documents.

Hall Identity Card (printed in colour)
