The University of Uyo has fixed Monday, April 27, 2026, as the new date for the rescheduled Computer Based Test (CBT) examinations for students who missed their First Semester 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 CBT exams due to incomplete registration within the stipulated period.
The decision was contained in an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) on April 20, 2026, following consultations with the ICT Directorate and the Examination Timetable Committee.
Affected students are to sit the examinations at designated CBT venues based on their departmental campus locations, with a comprehensive list of affected courses across various faculties released alongside the directive.
Heads of Departments and course lecturers have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the outlined guidelines. Lecturers are required to submit soft copies of their examination questions at designated CBT venues by 8:00 a.m. on the day of the examination and to ensure all questions are properly formatted and ready for immediate deployment on the CBT platform.
Department heads and lecturers are equally responsible for notifying all affected students of the examination date, time, and venue ahead of the exercise.
The university stressed that the arrangements are time bound and issued a firm warning that affected students may not receive any further opportunity beyond this rescheduled sitting.
