Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State, has approved the appointment of Dr. Johnbosco Chukwuma Ozigbu as an Adjunct Visiting Professor of Economics on a pro bono basis.
The Vice Chancellor confirmed the appointment through the Office of the Registrar. Dr. Ozigbu will support teaching, supervise research, and assist with other academic activities within the university’s Business School.
The appointment formalises UNIZIK’s collaboration with experienced academics who contribute voluntarily to strengthen programmes in economics and management sciences. Dr. Ozigbu is also reported to provide academic support at Rivers State University and Ignatius Ajuru University of Education.
He holds an MBA in Banking and Finance, an M.Sc. in International Economics and Finance, and a Ph.D. from Rivers State University. His work includes research on economic development, oil revenue management, and financial digitalisation.
The approval, dated December 16, 2025, reinforces UNIZIK’s efforts to broaden access to expertise and enhance teaching and research within its Business School.
