There is no establishment with governing rules; this also applies to UNIZIK hostels. Here are some rules that exist:

All Students must vacate the hostels from 8 AM to 12 PM, then from 1 AM to 5 PM. This is to ensure students attend classes and not use their hostels as a hideout. If found in the hostels around these lockout times, such a student may face disciplinary actions.

10 PM is a strict curfew time; no one is allowed out, and no one is allowed in. This rule is enforced by the hostel porters; latecomers will have to sleep out until 6 AM the next day.

Electrical appliances are strictly prohibited in all of UNIZIK hostels, this is to prevent fire outbreaks. Items such as hotplates, electric cookers, refrigerators, boiling rings, etc., are to be kept very far from the school hostels.

Squatting and selling of bedspace are strongly kicked against. Each room can not exceed the number of students allocated to it; if found wanting, this could result in expulsion from the hostel.

Students must comply with sanitation calls, which are held on weekends.
