Must possess at least five credit passes in SSCE (WAEC, NECO, GCE or equivalent)
The five credits must include English Language and Mathematics
Results must not be more than two sittings

Grade II Teachers’ Certificate (TC II) with credit or merit passes in at least five subjects

At least two Advanced Level passes in relevant subjects plus credit passes in other required subjects
NCE with passes in two major subjects plus credit passes in three other relevant subjects
Other equivalent qualifications approved by the university
