Prospective corps members in the 2026 Batch A Stream II can now access their call up letters and deployment details after the National Youth Service Corps uploaded the information on its official portal early Monday morning.

The NYSC confirmed the release via its official X account, stating that the 2026 Batch A Stream II deployment had been released. Prospective corps members can retrieve their call up letters through the NYSC portals at https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc2/ or https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/

Many users reported difficulty accessing the portal due to heavy traffic following the release, with one prospective corps member noting, "There is traffic," while describing delays in logging in to check deployment status. Across social media, several candidates also raised concerns about slow access and their states of deployment.

The release follows the NYSC's earlier announcement of the orientation exercise timetable. In a statement signed by spokesperson Caroline Embu, the scheme confirmed that the orientation course will commence nationwide on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, with reception and registration of prospective corps members running until midnight on Friday, 24 April 2026.

The swearing in ceremony is scheduled for 24 April 2026, with the full orientation programme running through Tuesday, 12 May 2026. Prospective corps members deployed to Enugu and Osun states, however, will begin their orientation on Tuesday, 28 April 2026, and conclude on Monday, 18 May 2026, following an earlier announced adjustment due to ongoing camp renovations in both states.

The NYSC advised all prospective corps members to prioritise personal safety while travelling to their camps, specifically cautioning against night journeys. "Prospective Corps Members are advised to break their journeys once it's 6.00 pm and continue the following morning," the statement read.
