The South East Renewed Hope Agenda has completed its region wide scholarship initiative with the distribution of 10,000 free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board registration slots to students across all 21 local government areas in Anambra State.

Each beneficiary received ₦8,500 to cover their 2026 examination costs, marking the conclusion of a 50,000 student programme that has now reached all five South East states following earlier distributions in Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, and Abia.

Comrade Alphonsus Muonagolu, State Coordinator of the Anambra Chapter of the South East Renewed Hope Agenda, expressed satisfaction that students from every local government area in the state benefited from the initiative. He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the gesture and urged beneficiaries to register promptly and perform excellently in their examinations.

Belusochukwu Enwerem, National Coordinator of the South East Renewed Hope Agenda, who launched the programme in Anambra, described the effort as evidence of President Tinubu's commitment to quality education and youth empowerment.

Enwerem stressed that education remains the strongest foundation for sustainable development, calling the occasion a movement of hope and empowerment that affirms that financial limitations should not define the future of students in Anambra State.

He positioned the initiative as a strategic investment rather than a charity, explaining that it aims to produce future doctors, engineers, lawyers, teachers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and national leaders.

The national coordinator urged beneficiaries to approach the opportunity with discipline, determination, and excellence, emphasizing the importance of serious preparation for their examinations.

Addressing parents and guardians, Enwerem noted that the programme is designed to ease financial pressure and reinforce the message that their children's future truly matters.

Miss Chiziterem Ezenwaobasiri, one of the beneficiaries, expressed happiness about the financial support she received for her examination registration.

Chizoba Chukwumaejim and Patrick Onuora, two beneficiaries of the scholarship program, expressed their gratitude to President Tinubu and offered prayers for his continued strength and success in office.

Other attendees at the launch remarked that President Tinubu has alleviated the burden on parents who are striving to secure higher education opportunities for their children through this initiative.

The completion of the Anambra distribution marks the achievement of the South East Renewed Hope JAMB scholarship program's target of 50,000 beneficiaries, fulfilling the commitment to provide 10,000 slots for each state in the region. This program aligns with the Renewed Hope vision of promoting youth inclusion, improving access to education, and fostering long term human capital development as key foundations for national progress.
