Penalty for Violating the Dress Code
If any student violates the dress codes outlined above, the following punishments will be given.
Defaulting students will be escorted out of the lecture room, examination halls, or academic areas where such behaviour is prohibited at the moment.
A warning letter will be issued to the defaulting student, and a copy will be kept in his or her personnel file at the university/department.
The parents/guardians of the defaulting student may be informed in writing, accordingly.
If the student does not repent, he or she will be suspended from the university. A student is considered unrepentant for bad dressing if he or she has been warned at least twice.
Repeated cases after two warnings or three (3) weeks' suspension will result in a one session suspension or expulsion, as applicable.
