Daniella Owoeye Jesudunsin has been awarded a ₦1 million scholarship by the Ekiti Parapo in Indiana, United States, in recognition of her outstanding academic performance, after emerging as the overall best candidate in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
Owoeye disclosed the development in a Facebook post on Wednesday, expressing appreciation to members of the group, her family, and other well wishers who celebrated her achievement.
She described the occasion as memorable, stating that she was overwhelmed by the love and support she received. She remarked that it was a heartwarming moment to be celebrated and surrounded by the love of family, friends, and well wishers, adding that her heart was filled with profound gratitude.
She specifically commended the Ekiti Parapo in Indiana for their generosity and encouragement, describing their care, support, and warm hospitality as exceptional. She noted that their kindness made the occasion even more special and that she did not take any of it for granted.
Owoeye also thanked the Obaleo of Erinmope Ekiti, Oba Dr Sunday Aikuirawo Aniyi Amoyimade Atayese I, the President of Ekiti Parapo, Hon. Awoniyi, her parents, family members, and other guests who attended the celebration.
