The management of the university has not just made the allocation process, but they adopted the system of first come, first serve. How to Apply/ Pay for EBSU Hostel 2025/2026 Session
Pay for the Hostel Form
Before you can apply for a room, you must first pay for the non refundable application form fee of 5,000 Naira at EBSU Microfinance bank located at CAS campus.
Pay the Hostel Allocation Fee
Once you have confirmed that space is available, it is recommended to check with the student affairs office first, and then you pay the full fee for the session into the same Microfinance account.
Physical Verification & Receipting
Unlike school fees, hostel payments require physical documentation at the student affairs office (CAS Campus):
Take your bank teller to the student affairs office.
The officers will verify your payment and issue you an official university receipt.
Keep this receipt safe; it is your only proof of payment for the room.
Final Allocation
Take your official receipt to the hostel supervisor at your designated campus (Presco, CAS, or Ishieke).
They will record your details in the hostel register and assign you a specific Room and bed space.
You may be asked to provide passport photographs and a copy of your school fees receipt for their records.
Rules and Regulations in EBSU Hostel
Squatting is prohibited in the school hostel; if caught, both the squatter and legal occupant will be evicted.
Students are not allowed to sell or transfer their bed space to another student. Only the student whose name is on the allocation list is allowed to occupy the room.
Most hostels require students to be inside the premises by 10:00 PM. The gates are typically locked after this time for security reasons.
Loud music, shouting, or any form of noise that disturbs others is not allowed, especially during lights out or study hours.
Electrical appliances such as boiling rings and hot plates are banned from hostel rooms
