Federal University of Kashere has extended the closing date for its 2026/2027 Post UTME online screening portal and rescheduled the physical screening test earlier billed for candidates seeking admission into the Jibril Aminu College of Medical Sciences.

The University disclosed that the Post UTME Test, originally fixed for Thursday, 2nd July 2026, has now been shifted to Monday, 27th July 2026, while the Online Screening Portal, previously set to close on 1st July 2026, has been pushed forward to Wednesday, 15th July 2026.

Management explained that the affected candidates are those who applied for Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), Nursing Science, and Dental Surgery under the Jibril Aminu College of Medical Sciences. According to the notice, the extension is intended to give eligible applicants more time to complete their registration ahead of the rescheduled screening exercise.

The Institution stated that the postponement affects only the physical Post UTME Test earlier scheduled to hold at the University's ICT Laboratory, noting that Management regrets any inconvenience the change may cause to applicants.

Before this update, the University had opened its 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening portal on Thursday, 4th June 2026, exclusively for candidates who selected FUKashere as their first choice institution during UTME registration. Applicants are required to log in with their JAMB registration number as both username and password and pay a non refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 before completing their bio data and academic details on the portal.

The University had earlier noted that, beyond the medical sciences programmes, other undergraduate courses are assessed strictly through the online screening process without a physical test component. Candidates applying for programmes outside the College of Medical Sciences are therefore not affected by the new schedule.

The Registrar's Office reiterated that only applicants who chose FUKashere as their most preferred institution for undergraduate degree programmes qualify to participate in the screening exercise. Applicants have also been urged to disregard any Post UTME notice or platform not published through the University's official channels.

Candidates affected by the rescheduled dates are advised to complete their registration on the portal before the new 15th July deadline and prepare for the physical test, now fixed for 27th July 2026 at the University's ICT Laboratory.
