Access the Portal: Go to https://firarsapp.futa.edu.ng/apps/login.
Login:
Fresh Students: Use your JAMB Registration Number as the username and your Surname in CAPITAL letters as the password.
Returning Students: Use your Matric Number as the username and Surname in CAPITAL letters as the password.
Update Profile: You will be prompted to supply a valid email address and phone number, and change your password.
Generate Invoice: Navigate to the payment section, select the session, and click "Pay Now" to generate an RRR invoice.
Make Payment:
Online Option: Pay directly on the portal using debit cards (Verve, Visa, MasterCards).
Bank Option: Take the printed invoice to any bank branch for payment via Remita.
Verification: After payment, return to the portal to verify the transaction and print your receipt.
How Payment Works at FUTA
FUTA allows instalment payment, but there are rules you must follow.
You can pay in two equal instalments if you are in 200 to 500 level.
Freshers and Direct Entry candidates must pay in full at the start of the session.
Paying only 50% allows you to register first semester only.
You must complete payment before the second semester registration.
You won’t access course registration or accommodation unless payment is fully reflected.
Hostel fees must be paid once, not in instalments.
Acceptance Fee for New Students 2025/2026
As a new student, the acceptance fee comes first before school fees. You are required to pay an acceptance fee of ₦20,000 after admission is given.
This confirms that you have accepted FUTA’s offer. Once that’s done, you can move ahead with payment and prepare for clearance.

Log in to https://firars.futa.edu.ng/app/welcome/admissions with your JAMB details.
Select “Pay Acceptance Fee.”
Enter a valid email address and phone number.
Choose your preferred payment method (bank or online).
Complete payment and print your acceptance receipt.
