In an attempt to strengthen its position in Nigeria's education sector after achieving impressive performance results, Teesas Education has extended its operations by opening two new learning centres devoted to Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) tutorials.
There are now four Teesas Education JAMB tutorial centres across the country, thanks to the addition of the new centres in Ikota, Lekki, and ICAPS in Owerri, Imo State.
Mr Osayi Izedonmwen, Chairman and Founder of Teesas Education, characterised the expansion as a strategic move intended to scale impact following the organisation's impressive results over two years in a row.
He said Teesas passed with a 98 per cent pass rate in 2025, improving on his 97 per cent pass rate in 2024. According to him, 25% of initial UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) applicants who enrolled at Teesas centres achieved scores higher than 300.
“We have tested our process for two consecutive years, achieving a 97 per cent pass rate in 2024 and 98 per cent in 2025. It is now time to scale for impact,” Izedonmwen said.
The students' impressive performance, he explained, is the consequence of a concerted effort to find weaknesses in traditional JAMB tutoring and create a methodical system that produces quantifiable results.
He pointed out that this strategy has drawn pupils from some of Lagos' best schools, such as Whitesands School, Lagoon School, and Meadow Hall School.
Teesas Education is dedicated to increasing access to excellent JAMB preparation while upholding the standards that have contributed to its success, the chairman said of the new centres.
All new students must take the mandatory preliminary assessment test, which is one of Teesas Learning Centres' key differentiators. Weekly CBT mock exams are also offered to track progress and get candidates ready for the UTME environment.
Whitesands School student Master Araoluwa David Ashiru, 16, verified the model's efficacy in the 2025 UTME with a score of 349. He claimed that taking the programme more seriously was prompted by his first poor performance on a practice test.
“Scoring less than 150 out of 400 in my first weekly mock exam was a wake-up call,” he said. “Teesas helped me achieve 349 by teaching me time management and covering a huge syllabus in a short period. The CBTs were very thorough, and reviewing my weak areas after each test made a big difference.”
