Students must pay extra charges to support services and activities on campus. Each payment has its own account. Below are the charges:

  1. The consultancy Unit handles the Uniform and life vests.

  2. Faculty dues and Departmental Dues are paid into the University Remita Account.

  3. A Medical Service Fee of ₦5,000 covers the student insurance scheme.

  4. For new hostel accommodation, ₦80,000 is paid into the New Hostel Remita Account.

  5. For old hostel accommodation, ₦60,000 is paid into the University Remita Account.

  6. An SMS fee of ₦3,000 is paid into the University Remita Account.

  7. For Students' welfare insurance, ₦5,000 is paid through the University Remita Account.

  8. Sport dues of ₦10,000 are paid into the University Remita Account.

  9. The acceptance fee of ₦70,000 for all New 100 level students is paid into the University Remita Account.

How to Pay NMU School Fees Online

Follow these steps to make a payment:

  1. Log in to the official website of the school at www.nmu.edu.ng

  2. Click on the payment or student portal section.

  3. Input your Matric Number or JAMB Registration Number if you are a new student.

  4. Select School fees from the list of available payment options.

  5. Select your correct faculty, programme and level so that the right fee amount will appear.

  6. Confirm that the amount displayed matches the approved school fees schedule.

  7. Click on the "Pay Now" button to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR)

  8. Copy and download the RRR for easy access.
