The University, established under the Tinubu administration, is described as Nigeria's first specialised Institution designed to integrate health sciences with technology, and is expected to drive innovation in medical education, research, and technology driven healthcare delivery.
FUHSATT management has assured the University community and the public of its commitment to providing the requisite human and material resources to ensure the successful takeoff and sustained growth of the newly approved programmes.
