Foreign trained Nigerian graduates who are yet to have their credentials and travel documents physically verified have been directed to appear at designated centres between Wednesday, April 8, and Friday, April 10, 2026, as the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) announces physical verification for Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) in the 2026 Batch A Stream II service year.

NYSC stated that only PCMs whose credentials and travel papers remain pending physical verification after online registration are affected by the exercise. The scheme made clear that affected PCMs must report strictly on the date, time, and venue shown on their verification slip, an instruction designed to ensure an orderly process and avoid overcrowding.

PCMs are required to present all original credentials and travel documents as uploaded, or expected to be uploaded, during online registration. Medical graduates face additional requirements, as they must upload their licences, registration certificates, and other relevant documents issued by their respective bodies, and also present the original copies at the verification centres.

On the Evaluation Letter rule, NYSC directed that original copies of Evaluation Letters issued by the Federal Ministry of Education are to be submitted at the NYSC Headquarters, Abuja, after which PCMs are to upload the acknowledged copies online.

The physical verification will be held at nine centres across the country. These are the NYSC Secretariat, 2 Abakaliki Road, GRA, Enugu State; Shadawanka Military Barracks, Bauchi State; NYSC Orientation Camp, Kubwa, Abuja; Bukavu Military Barracks, Fagge, Airport Road, Kano State; NYSC Orientation Camp, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos State; NYSC Secretariat, New Ikirun Road, Osogbo, Osun State; NYSC Secretariat, 40 Ikwerre Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State; Eagle Officers Mess, Giginya Cantonment, Gusau Road, Sokoto State; and NYSC Secretariat, Federal Secretariat Complex, Yola, Adamawa State.

NYSC confirmed that only PCMs who are physically present, verified, and cleared at the designated centres will be deployed, exempted, or excluded from national service.
