The National Youth Service Corps has announced Thursday, 9th July, 2026, as the date for the Passing Out ceremony of 2025 Batch B Stream I corps members, with the Director General confirming that the event will be conducted on a low key basis.

Ahead of the Passing Out date, the scheme outlined a structured programme of winding up activities spanning the final weeks of June 2026. Job Advisory and Counselling programmes are scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 23rd June and run through Wednesday, 24th June, 2026, and will be conducted at the local government level in collaboration with NYSC and relevant agencies.

A second phase of activities is scheduled to run from Thursday, 25th June through Tuesday, 30th June, 2026. During this period, employers are expected to formally release passing out corps members, while Job Advisory and Counselling sessions continue alongside the administrative winding up process.

The period also covers the registration and clearance of corps members by Local Government Inspectors, the signing of final clearance documents by Zonal Inspectors, and the online administration of a questionnaire through Form 4B, targeting 30% of the passing out corps members. The questionnaire exercise is scheduled for 30th June, 2026.

The circular was directed at all relevant NYSC departments and state offices to ensure coordinated implementation of the approved programme ahead of the official Passing Out date.
