For the concurrent 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions, OAU resumption dates have been set for Saturday, October 11, 2025, for fresh students and Sunday, October 26, 2025, for returning students.
According to the university senate, the fresh student resumption will be in two batches;
Saturday, 11 October 2025: Faculties of Administration, Arts, Environmental Design and Management, Education, Law, and Social Sciences.
Sunday, 12 October 2025: Faculties of Agriculture, Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Computing Science and Engineering, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology.
For both fresh and returning students, registration and documentation follow immediately on registration day, before lectures' final takeoff.
