Over 200 students in Lagelu Local Government Area of Oyo State have received free JAMB registration forms as part of a 10,000-student empowerment programme launched by Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, a Peoples Democratic Party governorship aspirant in the state.

The beneficiaries completed their registration on Tuesday at Lasting Glory JAMB CBT Centre in Ejioku Area through the Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo Scholarship and Empowerment Scheme.

Hon. Imoleayo Sola Idowu, who represented the aspirant at the occasion, described the gesture as part of Ambassador Ajadi's broader vision to make education accessible to underprivileged students across Oyo State.

"It is part of the idea of Ambassador Ajadi to support the less privileged in society. He has been doing it; this is not the first time. By 2028, he will be in the Oyo Government House by the Grace of God and will do more for the state. Ajadi is following the footsteps of Governor Seyi Makinde to help improve the educational system in Oyo. He is desirous of making education accessible to the downtrodden," Hon. Idowu noted.

He revealed that the initiative would reach all 33 local government areas in the state, with Egbeda Local Government scheduled next.

Adigun Rasheedat Ololade, one of the beneficiaries registering for UTME for the second time, appreciated the intervention, which spared her the financial burden.

"I sincerely thank Ambassador Ajadi for his kind gesture. I obtained the form for free, and that is commendable. I pray God to grant him all his wishes," she stated.

Abdul Rasheed Adebayo, another beneficiary, expressed relief at receiving support after losing hope due to financial constraints. "I didn’t have the money to purchase JAMB forms. I had lost hope, but I benefited from the free JAMB forms courtesy of Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, and I believe he has done well," he appreciated.

Mrs Oladayo Oluwaseun Adisa, whose child benefited from the scheme, thanked Ambassador Ajadi for easing the burden on parents.

Hon. Adesunbo Banatunde, a councillor in Lagelu Local Government, praised the initiative and challenged other well-meaning Nigerians to replicate it.

"I called on other well to do Nigerians to do the same in their state. I urged both politicians and non politicians to help build the future of our youths," he appealed.
