In collaboration with the Federal University of Oye-Ekiti, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has finalised plans to open a communication school in Lagos State.

Attendees of the groundbreaking event, which is scheduled for Thursday, February 5, 2026, include academicians, FUOYE officials, Nigerian University Commission officials, and other prominent figures.

Based on the information we currently have, FUOYE will be providing communication students with a distance learning programme at the school. Upon completion of the programme, the institution will issue a globally recognised certificate, demonstrating its legitimacy.

When asked why he started the project, Primate Ayodele said he had always enjoyed studying communications and had always wished to influence others in a way that would be advantageous to them.

He revealed that, although his ministry hasn't allowed him the luxury of time to practise, he once studied mass communication at a prestigious institution in Nigeria because he loved the field.

He clarified that starting a school of communication and collaborating with an organisation like FUOYE is an opportunity for those who are interested in communication studies to fulfil their goals, in addition to being a dream come true.

“I have always loved communication, this is why I love to associate with journalists too. It has always been my dream to contribute to communication studies in Nigeria, and this establishment is one of those ways God has led me to do it.

“I was once a communication student, and I enjoyed it; however, I wasn’t able to practice because of my ministry, but my love for it has never diminished for once.

“Establishing a communication school is a dream come true, and I appreciate FUOYE for partnering with me on this movement. This is a huge opportunity for those who may be interested in achieving their dreams.”

Primate Ayodele went on to say that he would be developing further outside of Nigeria, intending to visit Ghana, the Benin Republic, and a few other nations.
