About the Toriola Stephen Undergraduate Scholarship 2026
The Toriola Stephen Undergraduate Scholarship 2026 is an educational support initiative established to assist exceptional Nigerian undergraduate students who require financial assistance to continue their education.
The scholarship focuses on rewarding students with excellent academic records while also considering applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds. Preference is given to students who have overcome financial hardship, including those raised by single parents or those who have lost one or both parents.
For the 2026 edition, selected beneficiaries will receive financial support to help cover part of their educational expenses. According to the scholarship announcement, seven undergraduate students will be selected for the award.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, you must meet these conditions:

Application Process
The application isn't overly complicated, but it does require you to be thorough:
Fill out the online form. The application is a single page form, and every required field needs to be filled in accurately since the data is used for vetting and identifying applicants.
Prepare your essay document. You'll need to submit a PDF essay containing your full name, address, school name, level, course of study, and CGPA/GPA (with grading scale), along with responses to four essay questions.
What makes you unique (your background, identity, interests, or talents)
How the scholarship would help you, and why you deserve it
Your academic and/or career goals
How you've contributed to your community
Keep it within the word count. Your essay should be between 300 and 500 words, persuasive, clear, and well structured.
Attach supporting documents. You'll need to upload your ID card and academic result; the result should be signed by a lecturer, preferably your HOD or level coordinator. Additional supporting documents are optional but can help strengthen your case.
Submit as one file. Everything goes in as a single PDF, named with your full name as the file name.
Ensure you submit well ahead of the closing date. The system will undergo rigorous data vetting, and late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
