TASU Post UTME Screening Form 2026/2027 Academic Session

Taraba State University, Jalingo, has announced the commencement of its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session. UTME and Direct Entry candidates who selected the university as their first choice can now begin the online screening process.

The screening exercise is scheduled to run from 24 July 2026 to 23 September 2026. However, candidates must meet the required UTME score, O'Level or Direct Entry qualifications for their chosen courses before applying.

The JAMB cut of mark is 150 though competitive courses may require higher scores.. You should therefore check the admission requirements for your chosen course carefully before completing the screening registration.

TASU Post UTME Screening Eligibility 2026/2027

Only candidates who selected Taraba State University, Jalingo as their first choice institution are eligible to participate in the 2026/2027 online screening exercise.

UTME Candidates

UTME candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Score at least the minimum UTME score required for the chosen course.

• Obtain five relevant O'Level credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language.

• Obtain the required credits in not more than two sittings.

• Select Taraba State University, Jalingo as their first choice institution, if you did not, apply for a JAMB change of institution.

The minimum UTME score for most programmes is 150, although some courses have higher requirements. Candidates should check the course by course requirements below.

Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Select Taraba State University, Jalingo as their first choice institution.

• Possess a minimum of Lower Credit in Diploma, NCE or IJMB, where applicable.

• Have five relevant O'Level credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language.

• Obtain the required O'Level credits in not more than two sittings.

TASU Post UTME Screening Date

The online Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise will run from 24 July 2026 to 23 September 2026.

Candidates should complete their registration within the stated period. Only candidates who participate in the screening exercise will be considered for admission into the 2026/2027 academic session.

TASU Post UTME Screening Fee

The screening fee is paid online during the application process.

Candidates are expected to use a valid MasterCard, Visa Card or Verve Card to complete the payment after filling out the online form.

After successful payment, candidates should print their payment receipt and acknowledgement slip and keep them safely for future reference.
