Eligibility for UNICAL Post UTME and DE Screening
You are eligible to apply if you meet any of the conditions below:
You chose UNICAL as your first choice, and you met the cut off mark of 150 or above in UTME
You scored 150 or above, but didn’t choose UNICAL initially (you must change to UNICAL on the JAMB portal first)
You are applying through Direct Entry
Important Note
In line with the Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS) policy, if you are applying for Medicine and Surgery or Dentistry, your O-Level result must be from one sitting only. Two sittings are not accepted for these courses.

How to Apply for UNICAL Post UTME and DE Screening
The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has fully digitised its Post UTME screening process, replacing the former e-transact and scratch card PIN system with an online payment and registration process.
Applicants are required to visit the official Post-UTME portal to verify their JAMB registration details, complete the online application form, and pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 through approved electronic payment options, including ATM cards, bank transfers and USSD services.
The university also advised applicants to use accurate personal information during registration. UNICAL noted that it will not be responsible for unsuccessful applications caused by incorrect or invalid contact details.
