The University of Calabar has opened its 2025/2026 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening form, and registration is currently ongoing.

Registration for the 2025/2026 UNICAL Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening will run from Friday, 18 July 2025, and close on Monday, 11 August 2025.

Eligibility for UNICAL Post UTME and DE Screening

You are eligible to apply if you meet any of the conditions below:

  • You chose UNICAL as your first choice, and you met the cut off mark of 150 or above in UTME

  • You scored 150 or above, but didn’t choose UNICAL initially (you must change to UNICAL on the JAMB portal first)

  • You are applying through Direct Entry

Important Note

If you are applying for Medicine and Surgery or Dentistry, your O-Level result must be from one sitting only. Two sittings are not accepted for these courses.

How to Apply for UNICAL Post UTME and DE Screening

You are required to pay a non refundable fee of ₦2,000 before registration. You can register using either of the two methods below.

Option 1: Bank Payment (E-Tranzact)

  • Visit any commercial bank

  • Ask for UNICAL Post-UTME payment

  • Collect your E-Tranzact PIN

  • Go to myunical.edu.ng

  • Click on UTME Admission Screening

  • Log in with your JAMB Registration Number and PIN

  • Complete the form and submit

Option 2: Online PIN Purchase

  • Visit https://myunical.edu.ng/

  • Click Buy Post UTME PIN Online

  • Complete payment

  • Use the Transaction ID as your PIN

  • Log in and complete your registration

After submission, print your completed application form and keep it safe.

What to Bring for UNICAL Screening

You should come along with:

  • Post UTME Schedule Printout

  • 2025 UTME Result Slip

You should not bring:

  • Calculators

  • Phones, smart watches, or other devices

  • Bags or mathematical tables

Any banned item found will be seized, so it’s best to come light to avoid issues.

  • Use an email address and phone number you can access easily

  • Avoid false details about your UTME score or O-Level results

  • Once caught, disqualification is immediate
