Eligibility for UNICAL Post UTME and DE Screening

  • You chose UNICAL as your first choice, and you met the cut off mark of 150 or above in UTME

  • You scored 150 or above, but didn’t choose UNICAL initially (you must change to UNICAL on the JAMB portal first)

  • You are applying through Direct Entry

Important Note

In line with the Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS) policy, if you are applying for Medicine and Surgery or Dentistry, your O-Level result must be from one sitting only. Two sittings are not accepted for these courses.

The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has fully digitised its Post UTME screening process, replacing the former e-transact and scratch card PIN system with an online payment and registration process.
