As the style of all Nigerian universities is, UNIZIK's 2025/2026 academic calendar is broken down into two semesters with a total of 49 weeks.

The first semester has a duration of 23 weeks, with different academic activities spread across the entire semester.

In a related overview, the second semester is divided into 16 weeks; it is usually a short semester, but packed with a lot learning based activity over the first semester.
