If you selected the University of Nigeria, Nsukka as your first choice institution in JAMB, one of the most important steps in securing admission is registering for the UNN Post UTME screening form.
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka's Post UTME screening form will be available from the 14th of July, 2025. The screening process will close at midnight on the 15th of August, 2025.
If UNN is your dream school, this is your chance to secure your admission. Everything you need has been provided on the University of Nigeria, Nsukka's portal, including a detailed guide on how to generate your invoice and how the form should be filled out.
Eligibility Criteria for UNN Post UTME Screening Exercise

You must have selected UNN as your first choice in the 2025 UTME exercise.Â

The names on your O-Level, that is, your WAEC and NECO results, must match the name you used in your JAMB registration.

Enter your JAMB registration number to generate an invoice

Contents of the Screening Form and Documents Needed
When completing the form, you will be asked to provide:
Personal and contact details: These include your name, date of birth, phone number, email address, address, state and LGA of origin, and guardian’s contact information (if required).
JAMB details: have your registration number, UTME score, and first choice course handy.
O-Level results: This is where your WAEC, NECO and SSCE results (or equivalent), including subject grades, are needed.
You will also need a passport photograph (with the required background), examination number and centre, if applicable.
The Post UTME screening confirms your eligibility. It verifies your documents, and UNN’s admissions process uses these when putting together primary and supplementary admission lists.
Common Mistakes to Avoid When Applying
Below are the common mistakes to avoid and their consequences if they occur.
MISTAKE | CONSEQUENCE |
|---|---|
Uploading O-Level results with names that do not match the ones on your JAMB result | This can lead to your application being rejected. |
Buying forms from unofficial agents | Forms and agents outside the portal are invalid, so avoid them. You may be scammed or even given the wrong details. |
Paying after the deadline | Payment must be made with Remita and with a portal invoice. Late payment may disqualify the application. |
Uploading incorrect exam results | You will not be considered at all if you do this. Also, candidates awaiting November and December 2025 NECO and GCE were declared ineligible for 2025/2026 screening in the official notice. |
Ignoring size limits for uploads (100 KB limit) | The portal may reject oversized uploads. So, make sure to format all images and documents correctly. |
What Happens After Submission?
Once you submit your form and payment evidence, UNN will process your documents. Later, the portal will display your status and a screening result (if applicable).
If you are offered admission, you will receive instructions on the portal to “accept” the offer. At this stage, you will have to generate an acceptance invoice, pay the acceptance fee, and complete clearance as instructed in the official guidelines.
Finally, ensure you meet all subject combinations and departmental entry requirements (O-level subjects and JAMB subject combinations). This is important because if UNN discovers any mismatch later, even during clearance, your admission may be withdrawn.Â
