Next Phase After Being Admitted to AAU
Accept Admission:
This is one of the easiest but most important step to completely secure your admission. After seeing the congratulatory message on your JAMB CAPS, below the message, you will find two icons with "Accept" and "Reject." Candidates are given 4 weeks to accept admission; after that window, the system automatically rejects the admission.
Print Admission Letter:
After accepting admission, it is advised to immediately print your admission letter from the portal, which serves as clear evidence that your admission was provisional and was offered by JAMB. A fee of 1,000 Naira is usually paid before access is granted to print the letters.
Pay Acceptance Fee:
Newly admitted students of AAU are expected to pay a non refundable acceptance fee to the university. Medical students are to pay an amount of 75,000 Naira, while other departments are expected to pay 64,000 Naira. The payment should be made through the university portal.
