The Benue State Education Quality Assurance and Examinations Board (BEQAEB) has officially released the timetable for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination. This schedule sets out all exam dates, subjects and sessions for schools, students, parents and guardians across the state.
According to Dr. Terna Francis, Executive Secretary of the Board, the timetable is designed to guide proper preparation and ensure smooth conduct of the examination. It also helps schools plan ahead and keep students aligned with approved dates.
The examination will run from Monday, 1 June 2026, to Tuesday, 9 June 2026, with a final administrative activity on Wednesday, 10 June 2026.

Morning session: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
Afternoon session: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
