Important Steps After Being Offered Admission to COOU
Accept Admission:
All candidates should have this at the back of their mind when checking the admission list on the JAMB portal. After seeing the congratulatory message of being admitted, proceed to clicking on the accept icon below the message. This is giving JAMB and COOU a signal that you are comfortable with the course offered to you. Clicking on the reject will result in an instant termination of your admission.
Print Admission Letter:
This letter is proof that your admission is certified by JAMB. All candidates should ensure to immediately print their admission letter after accepting their admission on the JAMB CAPS. This letter comes in two copies, one for institutional use and the other for candidates' use. They should be printed out, as they will be presented during the documentation for newly admitted students.
Pay Acceptance Fee:
All newly admitted students of COOU are to pay an acceptance fee of 60,000 Naira. This payment will be made by generating an RRR number from the university's Portal, then proceeding to any commercial bank to pay. The university gives a period of two (2) weeks after being offered admission for the payments to be completed.
