How to Complete COOU Course Registration (Online)

Only students who have completed their school fees payment for the 2025/2026 session will be given access to register.

  • Visit portal.coou.edu.ng

  • Enter your Username (usually your JAMB Reg No or Matric Number) and Password

  • Once logged in, look at the sidebar menu and click on "Course Registration".

  • Select the Current Session (2025/2026) and the Semester

  • The portal will display a list of core courses (compulsory) and elective courses for your level.

  • Check the boxes next to the courses you are required to take.

  • Ensure the total number of credit units falls within the minimum and maximum limits allowed by the university (usually between 15 and 24 units per semester)

  • Review your selection carefully; errors can be difficult to correct once submitted.

  • Click "Submit".

  • Immediately click "Print Course Form". You will need at least four copies of this printout.

How to Complete COOU Course Registration (Physical)

  • Students must complete the online registration before proceeding with the physical registration.

  • Visit your Academic Adviser: Take your printed forms to your department for your adviser to sign.

  • HOD Approval: After your adviser signs, the Head of Department (HOD) must also sign.

  • Faculty Officer: Submit a copy to the Faculty Officer to update your physical file.
