The departmental and general minimum JAMB scores for all courses for the 2025/2026 academic year have been made public by the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE).

Applicants need to understand the FUPRE cut off mark since it determines their eligibility and qualifications for admission. Keep reading below to learn more about the FUPRE cut off marks.

FUPRE Cut Off Mark for All Courses

FUPRE has announced the cut off mark for the admissions process for the 2025/2026 academic year. The Post UTME Screening Exercise is open to candidates who selected FUPRE in the previous UTME and scored 170 or higher.

If you took the most recent UTME and scored 170 or higher, you are now eligible to apply to the university. However, please keep in mind that this cut off mark applies to all undergraduate programmes and courses.

You can now move on to screening if you achieve the required minimum score. To be considered for some courses, such as engineering, you might need to have a higher post UTME score.

FUPRE Admission Requirements 2025/2026 Session

As you are aware, you can gain admission to FUPRE through direct entry or the UTME exam. Whatever mode of entry you choose, you must meet the admission requirements, which are the following:
