Admission Process for the 2025/2026 Academic Session
For the 2025/2026 session, FUTIA has outlined its admission procedures for both UTME and Direct Entry applicants. Potential students must apply through the university’s online admissions portal and participate in screening exercises as outlined by the institution.
Online registration for the admissions screening began in July 2025, and applicants are required to accept their admissions via the JAMB portal within a specified four week window once offered.
After acceptance, candidates must proceed to the university portal to pay acceptance fees and prepare for registration exercises, which typically occur after the release of the admission list.
The first batch of the 2025/2026 admission list was published on the JAMB CAPS portal in October 2025, with subsequent batches expected in due course, a standard practice to ensure all qualified candidates receive offers.
Because it's so important to meet the O-level, UTME, and direct entry requirements, applicants should read the official FUTIA admission guidelines and get their paperwork ready early to avoid delays.
FUTIA’s Academic Environment and Learning Experience
FUTIA’s academic model is deeply anchored in innovation, research, and technologically driven learning. The university has established research centres focused on areas like aeronautics & aerospace, biotechnology, AI & robotics, and agricultural and food science, creating an environment where students can engage in innovative research alongside faculty mentors.
Students can access laboratories, design studios, computing suites, and collaborative spaces to apply theoretical knowledge to practical problems. Also, FUTIA encourages participation in internships, industrial placements, and entrepreneurial initiatives that enhance professional readiness.
Beyond academics, the campus culture promotes community engagement, leadership development, and ethical conduct, elements considered critical to producing graduates who contribute meaningfully to society. This general academic setting aims to find a balance between personal and professional growth and intellectual growth.
