The results of the 2026 UTME Mock examination are now available, and candidates who sat the test on 28 March 2026 can access their scores by sending MOCKRESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the same phone number linked to their 2026 UTME registration.
JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin confirmed in a statement on Tuesday that 224,597 candidates registered for the mock examination, of whom 152,586 successfully sat the test across 989 Computer Based Test centres nationwide. The board confirmed the main UTME remains on course to begin on 16 April 2026.
Alongside the results release, JAMB issued a pointed warning about a fraud pattern that resurfaces every examination cycle. Individuals and groups on WhatsApp are circulating claims that they can inflate UTME scores for a fee. The board was direct in its response. "Such claims are false and criminal. Any candidate found to have engaged in such activities will have their registration cancelled. Where such infractions are discovered after the examination, results may be withheld or withdrawn," the statement read.
The warning matters because fraudsters are most active in the window between the mock and the main examination, specifically targeting candidates who are anxious after seeing their practice scores. The mock result is not a final score. It is a diagnostic tool designed to show candidates where their preparation is strong and where more work is needed before 16 April.
If you receive any message promising to improve your UTME score in exchange for payment, report it and disengage immediately. Engaging with such offers puts your entire registration at risk, regardless of whether the main examination has been sat.
