A tutorial organisation that has helped over 97% of its students score above 200 in the UTME has opened two new centres in Lagos and Imo states, expanding its reach to students preparing for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examination.

Teesas Education launched the facilities in Ikota, Lagos State, and along Egbu Road in Imo State on Tuesday, bringing its total number of JAMB tutorial centres to four nationwide.

The expansion comes on the back of impressive performance records since the organisation established its first centres in 2024, with over 97% of students scoring above 200 in the UTME and 25% exceeding 300 marks, placing Teesas among top performing tutorial providers in Nigeria.

Mr Osayi Izedonmwen, Founder and Chairman of Teesas Education, explained that the new centres would enable the organisation to reach more students seeking structured support for university admission.

"Our goal is simple. We want to give every child the best chance at securing admission into their dream university," Izedonmwen stated, adding that "these new centres allow us to support even more students with in person tutoring that is structured, engaging, and proven to deliver results."

The centres operate a hybrid learning model combining physical classes taught by expert tutors with online coaching for students unable to attend in person JAMB lessons, providing flexibility across different learning preferences.

Both facilities feature modern learning tools, including interactive boards designed to transform traditional lessons into engaging, multisensory experiences. These boards enable tutors to display multimedia content such as tutorial videos, improving student engagement and information retention.

Thousands of students have already benefited from Teesas' approach since 2024, with many crediting the programme for their UTME success.

Sixteen year old Onyemwennosa Iyamu praised the tutorial centre for playing a key role in her examination performance, noting that the tutors covered additional topics beyond what she was taught in school.

The expansion positions Teesas Education as one of the fastest growing UTME tutorial providers in the country, offering technology driven learning solutions to students aiming for competitive scores in the increasingly challenging university admission process.

With four centres now operational across Lagos and Imo states, the organisation continues to deliver on its mission of providing high quality, accessible JAMB preparation to Nigerian students seeking admission into tertiary institutions.
